아버지에 대한 그리움과 사랑으로
키운 나무 한 그루.

그 나무를
세종 전의면 유천리에 심은 것,
그것이야말로
하느님이 보우하신 한국인의 선택이었다.

한국인은
전쟁의 끝을 기다리는 민족이 아니라,
아픔을 나누고,
우애로 세계를 다시 시작하는 민족이다.

이제 우리는 세계를 향해 말한다.”
